Mixture Spectrum Analyzer was developed to interpret the peptide mass fingerprints (PMF) of complex mixtures. The algorithm is based on the combination of results produced by well-known PMF search engines Mascot (Matrixscience) and Profound (Rockfeller University). Self-organizing map is used to provide the reliable combined statistical assessment, which is expressed in probability units.
